I am a Catholic-Christian wife, mother, homeschooler, who is passionate about faith and family.  I grew up in Missouri, where I graduated from Missouri State University in 2002, with a Bachelor’s Degree in Anthropology. I moved to North Carolina with my husband in 2011 and have made this our home for 14 years.  I currently live in Durham with my husband and five children, while we are building our home and farm in Alamance County.  I love to learn about nutrition, natural health, and sustainable living.  My kids and I are always game for the next 5k or fitness challenge!  I love to travel, see, and experience new things! In my spare time, you might find me working on my latest crochet project, painting peg dolls, conquering the latest craft trend, or looking at pictures of baby goats!  

I became a DONA certified Birth Doula in 2012, following the birth of my second child.   I am passionate about helping families navigate the many choices and decisions surrounding labor and birth, and assisting in achieving a fulfilling birth experience for the whole family. I love cultivating relationships with my clients; and witnessing their transition to new parents, whether it’s for the first or fifth time. I have experience supporting clients in hospitals, birth centers, and home births, with unmedicated, medicated, VBAC, and advanced maternal age births.  I am pleased to incorporate your faith or faith-based support into your birth experience.
